Key things to know about this book:
It is a short romance novel written in alternating-first-person point of view;
It is about an engineering student (Grace Hart) and a professional actor/dancer/singer (Lucas Gutierrez);
It is a stand-alone. Meaning you do not need to have read any of my other novellas or novels to make sense of it. All of these things are meant to be stand-alones.
That said, all of this stuff is based in the same fictional world, with interwoven/overlapping stories, and many characters who travel through the different stories.

Grace is the daughter of Julia Hart, one of the instructors at my fictional West Hollywood ballroom studio Shall We Dance. Over the course of this book she finishes college and graduate school.
Lucas co-stars with several other characters in a tango movie (THE GHOST OF CARLOS GARDEL). In this book, he gets a job on a TV show that shoots in Las Vegas; one of the people who helps him get that gig is Rita Johnson (REVVED UP). Also over the course of this book, Lucas works on two dance concerts with Mike Borodin (FACE THE MUSIC) and a different dance production with Rory Atwood (STRIPPED).
The TV show that Lucas works on is called ‘Behind the Strip.’ The writer of that show is the subject of my Las Vegas-set novella TAKE A NOTE. (All of the stories that revolve around Las Vegas can be found in the series header DESERT STARS.)
