Drama Queen: a new novel

I’m delighted to announce my fourth release from JMS Books LLC, a M/M contemporary romance novel. Click the image below to redirect to the book page at Queeromance Ink, where you’ll find all the retailer links - it’s available for Kobo, Nook, and AMZ as well as at the publisher’s site.

Three key things about DRAMA QUEEN:

  1. The main characters are Koa, a physician assistant moonlighting as a set medic, and Loren, an actor + stunt performer. They meet on a film shoot;

  2. At 36 and 40, both men are experienced and know what they want. Neither of them was in the market for a boyfriend, but …

  3. It turns out Loren has all the qualities Koa prefers, and Koa is everything Loren needs at a particularly challenging time in his personal and professional life.

I don’t often write about internal strife in relationships - my characters tend to encounter external conflicts or challenges, and their relationships grow as a result of facing those challenges together. In DRAMA QUEEN, Loren’s habitual way of dealing with emotional stress requires Koa to modify his habitual way. In the end, it’s all about empathy and compromise.

As usual, my themes are loss, reinvention, and found family.

This book relates to my story universe through characters present in GIVING IT UP and MY HOLIDAY STAR. If you enjoy DRAMA QUEEN, you may be interested in those too.

Happy reading!
